For a campaign that is focused on Lead Generation, this number is the most important. It tells you how many people actually clicked through your form and, if your form is in Facebook, how many people filled it out. This is your most clear measurement of success for this type of ad.
This number tells you how many people on Facebook have seen your ad at least once. This doesn’t include any times the ad was viewed multiple times by the same user. The Reach helps you figure out if your budget and audience is set appropriately. Are you only hitting a few dozen people each day? That might be an indication that you need to either broaden your audience or increase your daily budget.
Cost Per Result
In a Lead Generation ad campaign, this is how much each person who completes your form is costing you. The appropriate range for this number will vary greatly depending on your industry and your intended ad outcome. This takes your total ad spend and divides it by your Results number to determine how much you’re spending to get each lead.
Facebook provides a ton of other information, including demographics, placement of the ads, and on which device your users are seeing and reacting to them, which can be found in your Business Manager account. All of this information is important to understanding what your users are doing, what they respond best to, and, ultimately, how to improve and optimize your campaigns for the future.
